Stitch Fix Review: September 2019
Hey, friends! I’m back with another Stitch Fix review. And if you’re a regular reader, the answer is yes. Yes, I am still perpetually behind on my Stitch Fix reviews. Recently, I have been focused on our new devotional Be Still book club. It has left little time for reviews, but been an amazing experience! Now that the devotional is published, and the book club is underway, they’re coming! Slowly but surely, reviews are coming! If you’re new to Stitch Fix, check out my post All About Stitch Fix to see just what it is and how to get your best fix. What I asked for:
This fix I asked for all fall pieces: tops, a jumpsuit, a second shot at Madewell jeans, and layering pieces.
What I got: My September 2019 Stitch Fix Review
Threads 4 Thought Parscarelli Feather Fleece Tunic Pullover.
Size medium. True to size. So it’s no secret that I love me some athleisure, and my stylist knows me well. This cozy fleece pullover has thumb holes, covers the behind, and has a cross front detail. It’s the perfect pair to my favorite Zella Live In High Waist Leggings and converse. I loved this piece, but I didn’t love the price. $58 seems too high for a basic black top. I prefer more everyday wear to be less of an investment. If you love this top, you may want to check out adorable Sweaty Betty sweatshirt.

Verdict: Returned
Chaser Leisa Sunshine Day Graphic Cozy Knit top.
Size medium. Runs a bit small. Ok, did I mention I love athleisure? And graphics? Well, I do. And this one did not disappoint. It was so very soft on the inside. I loved the bright colors and vibe of the shirt. It is a more fitted top, which, to be quite honest, I don’t love in my comfy clothes. I tend to prefer a more flowy everyday top as I run around. This one pained me to send back, but if it’s not perfect, I try not to keep it. You can grab the high waist black, distressed Madewell skinnies pictured here.

Verdict: Sadly Returned
Market and Spruce Kathleen Cargo Jacket.
Size medium. True to size. I was really excited to see this beautiful mustard cargo jacket in my box. Cargo jackets are an awesome staple, but the mustard made it a little more unique. While I loved the idea of the jacket, the material was really thick making it a little more bulky. It laid funny due to the thickness and wasn’t super breathable. I would prefer a little thinner material that wasn’t quite so stiff. If you like this jacket, you’ll love this Madewell rust colored cargo jacket on sale now.

Verdict: Returned
Kaileigh Marley Knit Jumpsuit.
Size medium. True to size. Jumpsuits can be tricky to find the right fit for your body, especially if you’re tall. This one, however, is for the tall girls. It has a long length in both the leg and torso, so if you’re shorter, you may need to size down. This all black, oh so comfy, jumpsuit was adorable. You may want to note, it does have a deep v, so I am wearing a camisole. I loved this piece, but just don’t need it. We have no weddings or events this season, and so while it was so cute, it would just sit in my closet.

Verdict: Sadly Returned
Madewell 10” High Rise Skinny Jean.
Size 28. Fits small. Well, this is the thing about reviews that I knew was bound to happen…These jeans were too small. Like way too small. No amount of suck it in and contort your body was going to work with these Madewells. I am a typically a 28 in Madewell jeans (I have one 29, which are the ones pictured in all the images above. They are these Curvy High Waist Skinny Jeans.). So I was surprised at just how small these ran. I do love Madewell jeans though. I am a recent convert, and they are just about all I wear now.

I hate when a random piece runs small! You looked so fab in that jumpsuit but I totally get it when you have no events on the horizon! Great review friend!
So small!! Not even close to getting those on!! Thank you! I loved it, too, but felt it would just sit!
Love the sunshine sweatshirt!! But I see what you’re saying about wanting a looser fit!
I love it, too! But, yes, I like a cozier fit!!
