Stationery: Basic Invite Review
Anybody else just love beautiful paper goods? Even as a little girl, I can remember getting excited about cute stationery and note paper. I distinctly remember a little mini Hello Kitty stationery kit and pizza shaped notepad that I saved for the specialist occasions. While the aesthetics have changed a bit, I am still equally as excited to get nice stationery. Thank you cards, invites, business cards…give me all the beautiful paper! In a world full of e mails, group chats, and conference calls, there is just something about giving and receiving a tangible piece of paper.
At this stage in my life, I save the Hello Kitty notepads for my girls, and have graduated to stationery and business cards. And, friends, the step up did not disappoint! I was super excited to add these personalized cards to my arsenal. I felt like the combo was perfect for my life as a stay at home mom who loves to connect with other mamas and an entrepreneur who is building a business and blog. The only hard part was narrowing down designs and colors from all the choices.
About Basic Invite:
Basic invite has just about any stationery option you could dream of. I loved that they offer almost unlimited colors with over 180 different color options for invites and stationery as well as over 40 different envelope colors. This allows you to make sure the card is just how you want it – down to the littlest detail. They also offer custom samples, which lets you see exactly what your getting before your final order. Another standout feature is their free address collection service. You simply request your addresses by sharing a link, collect addresses, and then get free envelope printing.
Basic Invite also specializes in wedding invites offering over 1000 wedding invitation sets. Along with your invite, they offer customized coasters as wedding favors to match your design. And they even provide free wedding websites that are customizable to look just like your invite.
The website was extremely easy to use allowing you to use their own set designs, as well as tweak colors, font sizes and styles, and layout options. I was also impressed with the quick turn around time. I received my products within days of my initial order. The products I received were amazing quality with heavy paper and beautiful colors. I loved how they are both beautiful and professional, yet cute enough to be used for a simple hello note.
I highly recommend Basic invite for any of your stationery needs, and cannot wait to hand out my new business cards and send out some hellos. What paper goods do you get most excited about? Do you love to give and receive mail?
